Ten Tips for Being more truthful

The Ten Tips

1. Make a commitment to tell the truth.
2. Tell someone about your commitment.
3. Think before you give a dishonest answer, explanation, sarcasm, or reason.
4. Be careful of when and how you use exaggeration, sarcasm, or irony.
5. Be careful not to twist the truth or leave out part of it.
6. Don't indulge in little white lies.
7. Watch out for silent lies.
8. When you catch yourself lying, throw your mouth into reverse.
9. Talk to yourself.
10. Treat yourself when you tell the truth.

The ten tips for being more truthful can benefit me in many different ways. It can help me become a better person and a trusting one as well. It will help me not say any lies because it will make me think before giving a dishonest answer. I well know to never leave out information or to try to twist the things around. Look out for those silent lies you have, and when you know you are about to tell a lie,stop think and go back. DO NOT SAY IT. Tell yourself that you will always tell the truth and you can tell other people as well. When you say the truth, be happy and treat yourself because that is something big. It makes people trust you and want to be your friends because they will know you will never lie to them. 

Spring Break summary

My break was pretty good. Most of the days I slept till like 12 which was good. The first weekend I went to the fair with my cousin and my friends. and then on sunday I worked from 10 to 7 which I didn't enjoy at all. Then the week I took care of my little sister while my dad and mom were at work. I had a lot of homework to do over the break and thank god I started on it early on the week or else I wouldn't of had finished. I had to do two essays. One of the essays was for kopataich and english one about the book 1984. The second essay was about climate change for my physics class. Both were very challenging for me but I was able to complete them. I also had homework for my algebra 2 class. That was very difficult, I couldn't understand it. I also had to do some senior defense things because Im not done with mine and time is going by fast. I didn't do anything else during my break I just wanted to relax and be home and watch t.v.
