The plastic bag wars, after years in the trenches, are now coming to a head. Should they ban plastic bags? I honestly believe that they should not because the plastic bags are useful. When someone goes into the market they need a plastic bag to carry what they bought. I know some may argue and say they shouldn’t bring their own, but sometimes we can forget. What if we go and buy and we realize we forgot our own bag what are we going to do? We can’t just carry item by item to the car. What if you don’t even have a car that’s not going to work out good.  It is just better to have the bags at the store than have the person being it themselves. Sometimes the person doesn’t have a car and they walk or use the bus and they need those “plastic bags” in order to buy their foods and what they need. I know that sometimes people don’t throw the plastic bags away where they are supposed to. It pollutes our community. Talking to them right and making them realize it can be of a lot of help.  Charging the people for the bags isn’t a bad idea. That’s a lot better and I think it can work out for people. Although some people still don’t like the fact that they are getting charged for them. I like that idea better than banning the bags. That way the people at the store are still making the money and won’t complain. By being charge maybe the people will learn to throw the bags where they belong. They will learn to not leave bags out in the streets because that causes different things. It doesn’t cause good things just bad things.
